Angle box resisted vertical and lateral jumps (while tethered too!)

Explosive jumping forward and vertical have been the norms in plyo explosive development. Adding another element to plyo explosive jumps creates more multi-directional explosiveness.

For the drills in the video above I used the angle plyo boxes. Unlike conventional boxes, these boxes have a slight incline surface to them, allowing for landing on a non-traditional surface.  Upon ladnng on this angle surface, the body has to create stability, power and balance to repeat the explosive action again.

The vid also shows the athlete tethered on the platform by way of bungee resistance.  Going the extra step, we alternated her vertical jumps with her lateral jumps.

Great way to create explosiveness beyond traditional norms!
