Speed, Strength and technique in sports are not enough without a COMPETITIVE Mindset

Physical conditioning, strength and sports specific technique are critical to success in sports, and they can determine the outcome for teams and athletes.  But those factors are not enough.

Being COMPETITIVE is the difference maker.  Without competitiveness, the drive and hunger to win and to be successful in sports will not be there, and physical strength and technique will not be enough.

Competing is a mindset. It's about being driven to be your best no matter what you do, no matter where you are.  True competitors are always working towards gaining a competitive edge, whether it's through training, practice sessions, nutrition-----you name it.

Competing is about the inner drive that an athlete has where the desire to win and succeed far outweigh the potential to fail or to loose: something that athletes risk every time they enter the competitive arena.

Be focused on your preparation when it comes to the physical and technical part of your sport, but be diligent in making sure that you approach it with a competitive mindset.
